On January 28th 2020 very essential medical equipment was distributed to 130 health centers in Tacloban city area in the Philippines.
Representing each village, the head of the village received the medical equipment from Bhante Wimala at a special event held in Tacloban City.
Blood pressure monitors, Gluco meters, testing strips, Nebulizer compressors are some of the main items distributed during the event.
Dr. Edward Chua, the President of Asian Development Foundation College co-ordinated the program.
In the past, on several occasions, Bhante Wimala has organized the distribution of medical equipment in the area. He also has reconstructed three health centers destroyed by Typhoon Yolanda.
