I am very glad to inform you that we will have a special guest teacher, Mr. Richard Jones from London, to conduct the meditation program on the 15th, 22nd and 29th of December.

Each session will be held from 3pm to 5pm and will include a Dhamma talk on the fundamentals of Buddhism, guided meditation and a discussion.

Richard is an experienced Buddhist teacher who teaches at London Buddhist Vihara in the UK. I hope you will not miss this special opportunity to learn from an experienced, dedicated Buddhist teacher.

Following is a brief bio of Mr. Richard Jones
Richard Jones has been a practicing Buddhist since 1972. For the past 20 years he has been teaching regularly at the London Buddhist Vihara, which is the oldest Buddhist monastery in Europe, founded in 1926. He has conducted courses covering subjects such as Introduction for Beginners, Meditation, Sermon Studies, and Abhidhamma (Buddhist Philosophy and Psychology). For some years he was the teacher when the Vihara was asked to teach classes on behalf of Birkbeck College (Extra-Mural Department of London University). He has also been invited to speak at the Buddhist Societies in the University of Cambridge, London University and Imperial College, and various InterFaith meetings. In 2004 he received a Golden Buddha award from the Thai-British Buddhist Trust for his distinguished contribution to the advancement of Buddhism in the UK.
