Two Computers for Girl's School in Kenya

Two of the teachers from the girl's school receiving the computers from Bhante at the Nairobi Buddhist Temple.

On the 26th of October, 2009, following a request from school Principal Mrs. Mutaga, we donated two computers to the Rarakwa Secondary Girl's School in Kigumo, Muranga. Two of the teachers from the girl's school received the computers from Bhante at the Nairobi Buddhist Temple. We are very happy to continue our support of girl's education in Kenya. We know that these computers will help brighten and broaden the lives of many girls.

"My name is Christine Wangui Wathika, the headmistress of Makomboki Secondary School, Maragua district in Central province. I am writing to request an assistance of computers. Most of my students have never seen or used a computer in their life. I will really appreciate and will be very grateful if you can provide two computers to our school."

Thank you
Christine Wathika
